New online billing feature for City of Atwood utility customers

NEW FEATURE FOR THE CITY OF ATWOOD UTILITY CUSTOMERS
*The City of Atwood now offers you the convenience of accessing your utility account and paying your monthly utility bill online! You can enroll in autopay, get electronic bills, and manage your account 24/7 online. Sign up today by going to:
*To set-up your account: select create now and follow the instructions. You will need to have your utility account number and enter your physical address.  When entering your physical address to setup your account it must be as listed on your bill. If you do not have a copy of your bill or need assistance setting up your account, please call us at City Hall at 785-626-9462.
*Communication & Access to City Information Easy direct-line communication between city residents and the City of Atwood! Public Users can enroll in email and text notifications and receive important information such as delinquent notices, shut-off notices, emergency alerts, and more. This great benefit isn’t limited to utility bill customers. Any FrontDesk Public User can view answers to Frequently Asked Questions, get easy access to meeting and receive Public Notices. This is all done in a single, easy-to-use platform.
You must confirm you email and cell phone number to receive online bills and communications!

Resolution 22-04

The city council voted to adopt resolution 22-04 on January 20, 2022. The $1.00 fee collected on the utility bills shall now be known as the Street Improvement fee (SI) and that all fees collected through this fee shall be used in the Street Improvement Fund to maintain and improve the streets of the City of Atwood for public safety and benefit.

Correction to article in newspaper 1/27/22

The amount of the project proposal for street improvement project was incorrectly reported in the Rawlins County Square Deal this week. The amount of the proposal is $296,463.75.

Atwood Citizens.....please be aware that the City Council voted last Thursday Jan. 20th to follow any county burn ban that is imposed!
